Voices to follow

Voices from every region who see change early

Journalists, researchers, practitioners, Indigenous and community leaders whose public work surfaces the signals, solutions and next steps behind our seven frontiers, from Nairobi and Beirut to Bengaluru, Jakarta, São Paulo and the Pacific. Each card shows where they are based, which regions their signals are about, the languages they publish in, and live data on what they publish.

We list voices for their public work, using the criteria in our method: early sight of change, links across fields, openness to evidence, and transparent sources. Listing is not endorsement, and we deliberately include voices who disagree with each other. Audience size measures reach, not foresight.

Hearing from every region, in more languages

Personal networks tend to find people like themselves, and many early signals start far from the usual centres. So we deliberately look for voices in every world region, including Indigenous voices and people who publish in languages other than English.

The chart shows how many voices cover each region. Central Asia, the Pacific and non-English sources are still thin. The best way to find voices who are further ahead is to ask the ones we follow: who do they learn from? If you know someone who notices change early, in any language or region, nominate them.

Voices by the region they cover

A voice can cover several regions. "Global" means their signals are about the world as a whole. Are you listed and want a correction or removal? Email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.
